Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is set to open a new Italian restaurant, Trattoria, in Columbus, Ohio on June 2 at Eldorado Scioto Downs. This will be Fieri’s first new concept restaurant, featuring classic Italian dishes with a unique “Fieri-twist,” including Primetime Meatballs and a 68-layer Lasagna Al Forno. Fieri, who was born in Columbus, expressed his excitement to bring his latest concept to his hometown, stating that Italian American fare has always been a part of his life.
The restaurant, designed by Aria Group Architects, will have an “old-school Italian feel” with rustic wood finishes, textured glass screens, an open pizza and pasta prep station, and gallery walls. It will have two main dining areas, a private dining room, and a lounge-like bar. Eldorado Scioto Downs is thrilled to welcome Fieri back home for his first Italian restaurant, with SVP and General Manager Amy Ankerson stating that guests have been eagerly awaiting the addition. This new dining experience will cater to all customers with its diverse menu options.
