Kinsman, Ohio is showing its patriotic spirit with over 120 American flags lining the main streets of the township. The American Legion Post, in partnership with the Lakelands Association, has put up the largest number of flags since they started handling the displays. Mostly funded through donations, the flags are a beautiful sight for residents and travelers passing through the area. Commander Greg Leonhard hopes to see the number of flags put up each year continue to grow. The displays are up from just before Memorial Day until the second week of August, serving as a reminder of what the American flag stands for. The community effort to showcase patriotism in Kinsman is drawing attention and admiration from locals and visitors alike.
