At the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, UFC CEO Dana White introduced Donald Trump before he accepted the party’s nomination for the 2024 Presidential Election. White has been a long-time supporter of Trump, speaking at the 2016 convention and endorsing him in both the 2016 and 2020 campaigns. He highlighted Trump’s qualities as a fighter and praised him for starting the first UFC fight at the Trump Taj Mahal. However, White faced controversy in 2023 when a video of him hitting his wife surfaced. White had previously stated that putting one’s hands on a woman is unacceptable.
