The Collegiate National Team Training Camp took place this summer with two teams formed: the International Friendship Series team, composed mainly of 2025 draft-eligible prospects, and the Summer League Tour team, rostered with mostly 2026 draft-eligibles. After training camp, the teams faced off in the annual Stars vs. Stripes series. The International Friendship Series team also participated in the USA vs. Chinese Taipei International Friendship Series, while the Summer League Tour team continued their tour. Promising prospects showcased their skills during these competitions, providing an opportunity for scouts to evaluate their potential for the upcoming drafts. Overall, the training camp and subsequent series offered a platform for young talents to gain exposure and experience against international competition, setting the stage for their future in baseball. The split teams allowed for a larger pool of players to participate and demonstrate their abilities, increasing the chances for these prospects to stand out and attract attention from professional teams. The event served as a valuable stepping stone for these aspiring athletes as they continue to hone their skills and work towards achieving their dream of playing at the highest level of the sport.
