Six individuals, aged between 20 and 23, have been indicted for producing and circulating counterfeit money in Ohio. The charges include theft, identity fraud, cashing forged checks, counterfeiting bank cards, and using fake $20 bills for purchases. The crimes occurred in four counties from June 2022 to January 2023.
Cooper Rademacher, Kalie Gibler, Noah Frisby, Dion Fleet, Brandon Randolph, and Dale Champion face various felony charges related to the counterfeit money scheme. The investigation involved multiple police departments, drug task forces, and prosecutor’s offices in the affected counties.
The Ohio Attorney General and Williams County Prosecutor announced the indictments, stressing that these are criminal allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. This case demonstrates the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies to address financial crimes impacting multiple communities.
