Popular actor Jason Ritter recently revealed his go-to karaoke songs in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. The 44-year-old Parenthood alum shared that he typically sings “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus, but switches to “Sandcastles” by Beyoncé when his wife Melanie Lynskey is around. The couple, who first met on set over a decade ago, have since worked together on multiple projects and have a daughter together.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions prevented Ritter from joining Lynskey in Canada for her work on Yellowjackets. As a solution, the couple decided to get married on their front porch in Atlanta within a day’s notice.
Ritter also shared 25 fun facts about himself, including his love for video games, his childhood collection of marbles and pennies, and his favorite movie, Nights of Cabiria. He also revealed that his favorite way to spend date night with Lynskey is going out to dinner or ordering in and watching TV.
The actor, who will be starring in the new show Matlock, premiering on September 22, also shared that he admires actors such as Giulietta Masina, Keanu Reeves, and River Phoenix, and that his favorite comfort food is Salt & Straw’s Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream. Ritter also expressed his fondness for being a dad and watching his daughter experience new things.
