Hezbollah launched “dozens of Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 missiles” at the Ramat David airbase near Haifa in response to an Israeli airstrike that killed 37 people, including one of their senior leaders. Israel reported that some rockets were intercepted, while one missile caused a man to be lightly wounded in a village. Hezbollah cited Israeli attacks on Lebanese regions as the reason for the missile launch. On Saturday, there was heavy fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, with Israel striking a building in Beirut. Hezbollah has promised retaliation for recent attacks that killed 37 people, with 3,000 wounded. The attacks were believed to be carried out by Israel. In addition to the missile launch, Israeli troops also raided the offices of Al Jazeera in the West Bank, ordering them to shut down for 45 days amidst coverage of the conflict in Gaza. This raid follows a similar one in July in East Jerusalem. Al Jazeera continued broadcasting from Jordan, denouncing the actions taken by Israeli forces. The situation between Israel, Hezbollah, and the media remains tense as all parties are involved in ongoing conflicts and disputes.
