Ohio State football fans can breathe a sigh of relief as defensive tackle Tyleik Williams will be available for Saturday’s game against Michigan State. The former All-Big Ten selection missed the previous game due to injury but has returned to practice this week, as confirmed by coach Ryan Day.
Williams’ absence was felt in Ohio State’s last game, a 49-14 win over Marshall, where the defense allowed more points and yards than in the previous two games. Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles commended Tywone Malone for stepping up in Williams’ place but had little to say about the other reserves who filled in.
Williams has been a key contributor to the Buckeyes’ defense this season, with nine tackles, including two for loss, and 1.5 sacks. His presence will be crucial for Ohio State as they face off against Michigan State.
Ohio State fans can expect to see Williams back in action this weekend, hopefully making a significant impact on the defense and helping the Buckeyes secure another victory.
