Six Bellefontaine High School football players have been recognized for their outstanding performances this season by being named to the Division III All-Southwest District Team. Among them, seniors Tavien St. Clair, Braylon Newcomb, Brody Boy, and Jayden Temple received First Team honors, while seniors Ayden Clary and junior Carter Caudill earned Second Team recognition. St. Clair, who was named Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, led the CBC in passing yards with 2,536 and 29 touchdowns, in addition to rushing for 254 yards and 9 TDs. Newcomb also stood out with 77 catches for 1,195 yards and 17 touchdowns, leading the CBC in receiving yards. Boy anchored the offensive line, Temple led the defense with 122 tackles and 4 sacks, Clary had 56 tackles and 3.5 sacks, and Caudill recorded 115 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, and 2 fumble recoveries, while also leading the CBC in rushing yards with 1,013 in the regular season. The Chiefs finished the season with an 8-3 record overall and 4-1 in the CBC. The team’s stellar performance is a testament to the talent and dedication of these players, who have undoubtedly left their mark on Bellefontaine High School football.
