Kiedrowski’s Bakery Wins Bronze in Best Holiday Cookies Poll

AMHERST, Ohio – Kiedrowski’s Simply Delicious Bakery has been recognized as the third place winner in the 2024 "Best Holiday Cookies" readers’ poll conducted by the "Best of Cleveland" team. Renowned for its rich Polish-American heritage and commitment to quality, the bakery has become a staple in the community since its founding in 1984.

Located at 2267 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Kiedrowski’s Bakery has garnered attention for its variety of baked goods, including cakes, donuts, and signature items like pączki and Snoogles. Co-owners Tim and Terri Kiedrowski have survived decades of competition by remaining true to their roots and focusing on traditional recipes, often learned from Tim’s family.

The bakery sells about 300 dozen Snoogles weekly—an innovative pastry that combines the best features of ladylocks and cheese danish, created from leftover ingredients in a happy accident. As holiday season approaches, customers flock to Kiedrowski’s for festive cookies that include nut, cheese, apricot, and raspberry kolachy, Polish butterballs, gingerbread cookies, and more.

Notably, Kiedrowski’s busiest day is not during the holiday season, but rather on “Pączki Day,” celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday. The bakery also hosts an annual “Pączki Ball” that has become a community favorite.

The Kiedrowskis express gratitude toward their loyal customer base, emphasizing that its recognition in the poll reflects years of hard work and dedication. As they enter their 40th anniversary, Tim remarks, "Taste memories in every bite," illustrating their commitment to providing scrumptious treats that evoke fond memories for the community.

For those intrigued, Kiedrowski’s Bakery welcomes special orders and can be reached at 440-282-2700 or through their website at kiedrowskibakery.com.
