Country music superstar Trisha Yearwood recently sold her home in Brentwood, Tennessee for $3,340,000 just a day before her husband, Garth Brooks, faced a lawsuit for rape and battery. The couple, married since 2005, have been facing challenging times as a woman identified only as Jane Roe filed a sexual assault and battery lawsuit against Brooks, claiming he made unwanted sexual advances towards her.
The 6,553-square-foot property, bought by Yearwood back in 2000, was the set location for her Emmy-winning cooking show, “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.” It featured a chef’s kitchen with high-end Wolf appliances, an in-ground pool, and two gated entrances for added privacy.
Brooks has denied the allegations, claiming he is a victim of extortion and has filed his own lawsuit against Roe. Yearwood has not yet released any statement regarding the matter. Despite the ongoing legal battle, the couple, who share three daughters, has been described as having a strong and enduring relationship.
Fans of the couple have expressed their support for Yearwood and Brooks during this challenging time. The country music stars have been fixtures in the industry and have a loyal fan base that continues to stand by them amidst the legal issues they are currently facing.
