Rocky River Police Reports Recent Incidents

Rocky River, Ohio – In recent police activity, a resident of Hilroc Condos reported a stolen vehicle on October 29. The individual discovered that their black Toyota Camry was missing from the parking lot. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and confirmed the car had been stolen overnight. The investigation remains ongoing, with the vehicle still unfound.

On the same day, a 26-year-old man faced an accidental injury while working on a woodworking project on his porch. He accidentally stabbed himself in the leg when a knife slipped, resulting in a three to four-inch laceration. The injured man was promptly transported to Fairview Hospital by ambulance for treatment, where he received stitches for his wound.

In a separate incident on November 4, employees at a local Giant Eagle grocery store responded to suspected shoplifting involving two women who had just left the premises. Upon noticing the women fleeing in their vehicle, officers intervened in the Arby’s parking lot nearby. One of the suspects was found to have several outstanding warrants. During the subsequent search of their vehicle, authorities recovered suspected illegal drugs. Both women were arrested without confrontation.
