Mia Schoenbeck, a member of the Wake Forest field hockey team, has been selected to participate in the USA Field Hockey Women’s National Team Training Camp. The camp will include practice games against the German Women’s National Team. Schoenbeck, described as a competitive and gifted athlete, previously represented Team USA at the 2024 Junior Pan American Championships, helping the team win silver. She had a successful season with Wake Forest, earning Second Team All-ACC honors with three goals and two assists.
Schoenbeck will participate in practice games at UNC Charlotte, with the schedule as follows: Game 1 on November 23, Game 2 on November 25, and Game 3 on November 26. Notably, she scored a goal in the 32nd minute against Canada during the Junior Pan American Championships. Throughout the season, she started every match and performed well, contributing goals and assists in various games. Schoenbeck had a memorable performance in Wake Forest’s victory over Davidson, scoring two goals in the fourth quarter. The sophomore’s achievements on the field have earned her recognition and the opportunity to showcase her skills at the national level during the upcoming training camp.
