Local high school football teams in the Mid-Ohio Valley are invited to participate in the weekly prep football leaders report by submitting their full season cumulative stats by 3 p.m. every Monday. Submissions can be sent to jholland@newsandsentinel.com and jbennett@newsandsentinel.com.
In other sports news, the annual Roger French Memorial Scholarship Golf Scramble is set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Lakeside Golf Course. The event will have a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and signups starting at 7 a.m. The entry fee is $300 per team, which includes green fees, cart fees, and food throughout the day.
