Man Pleads Not Guilty to Illegal Dumping in Youngstown
Youngstown, OH – A local man has pleaded not guilty to charges of illegal dumping following a recent stint of environmental violations in the area. The defendant, identified as 34-year-old Jordan Fletcher, was in court on Tuesday to face allegations stemming from the improper disposal of waste materials in a vacant lot.
The charges originated from a police investigation that revealed a significant amount of debris, including construction materials and household items, piling up in the vacant lot on the city’s South Side. Witnesses reported seeing Fletcher and others actively unloading trucks full of waste at the site, prompting complaints from residents who were concerned about potential health hazards and negative impacts on the neighborhood’s aesthetics.
