MAYFIELD, Ohio – The Mayfield Police Department has released a summary of recent incidents occurring in the area, reflecting a series of challenging events that impact the local community.
On November 23, Deacon’s auto dealership reported a fraudulent vehicle purchase involving an individual from Kansas. In a separate incident on November 20, officers responded to a disturbance at a business on Beta Drive where a 45-year-old Euclid man attacked his supervisor after being disciplined. After briefly leaving, he returned but was subsequently terminated from his position. Management opted not to press charges, and officers provided him with a ride home.

The investigation faced challenges as surveillance footage from the incident was no longer available. Additionally, a 37-year-old Westerville man was arrested for impaired driving after being found inebriated while driving in the wrong lanes on November 24.
In more unusual incidents, a man drove into his garage door on November 25, prompting a psychiatric evaluation, while a conflict between neighbors arose over automotive business disturbances. Lastly, authorities are looking into a theft reported by a resident who discovered a missing iPhone from a recent delivery.
