Press Release: Super Bowl LIX to Feature Star-Studded Musical Lineup in New Orleans
Cleveland, Ohio – The excitement is building as Super Bowl LIX gears up for an unforgettable musical celebration featuring renowned artists Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle, and Ledisi. Scheduled for February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, this year’s Super Bowl performances are set to honor the city’s illustrious musical heritage.
Five-time Grammy Award winner Jon Batiste will take the stage to perform the national anthem, showcasing his extraordinary talent and deep ties to Louisiana. Trombone Shorty, a celebrated musician and producer from New Orleans, will join forces with Grammy-winning artist Lauren Daigle to deliver a rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Additionally, New Orleans native Ledisi is set to perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” adding a rich cultural dimension to the performances.
In a progressive move, the pregame and halftime shows will feature accompaniment in American Sign Language (ASL). Stephanie Nogueras will sign the national anthem and “America the Beautiful,” while Otis Jones IV will interpret “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The halftime show’s ASL rendition will be delivered by Matt Maxey, ensuring inclusivity for all fans.
Previously announced, Grammy Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar is also joining the festivities, slated to perform during the halftime show.
