Boston University men’s ice hockey freshmen Cole Eiserman, Cole Hutson, and Brandon Svoboda have been named to the preliminary roster for the 2025 U.S. National Junior Team. They will join 25 other players at a training camp in Michigan in December, aiming to secure a spot on the final 25-player roster for the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ottawa. Eiserman leads NCAA rookies in goals and points, while Hutson leads freshman defensemen in points and assists. Svoboda, despite battling injury, has shown strong performances in scoring goals and leading in points and assists at a previous event. The final U.S. roster is expected to be announced by December 24, with Team USA having medaled in seven of the last nine World Junior Championships. Last year, Lane Hutson and the Americans earned gold.
