The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team is set to play China in its first preliminary round game of the 2024 Para Hockey Cup at Bell Aliant Centre. The game will be streamed live and includes Canada and Czechia in the four-team event. The U.S. enters the tournament with an unbeaten record after winning the IPH Cup in Czechia. Declan Farmer leads the team in goals, assists, and points, while Jen Lee will make his season debut in goal. The U.S. has a perfect record against China and last defeated them 10-0 in the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championship. Team USA has won eight consecutive Para Hockey Cups and holds a record 10 tournament titles overall. The semifinals are scheduled for December 13, with the championship and third-place games on December 14.
