Local Teams Shine in All-Ohio Football Honors

As the high school football season comes to a close, the spotlight shifts to the accolades, with the announcement of the All-Ohio football teams kicking off on Monday. Notably, Warren JFK has made its mark in Division VII, garnering several honors.
Leading the way for the Eagles, offensive lineman Carter DeJulia and punter Freddy Bolchalk were recognized on the second team, showcasing their vital contributions this season. Linebacker Ian Odille secured a spot on the third team, while defensive linemen Mike Bartoe and Trevon Hall earned honorable mentions.
In Division VI, talent did not go unnoticed either. Pymatuning Valley saw quarterback Ryan Croston and running back Ty Vickory both land on the third team, with notable mentions for offensive lineman John Finello, linebacker Luke Giddings, and defensive back Sean Croston.
Other standout players included Windham’s Jack Eye, who was honored as first-team linebacker, and teammate Carlos Bruton, who made second-team as a running back. Across Mahoning and Columbiana counties, several players claimed first-team distinctions, including Springfield’s Dante Gentile and Valley Christian’s Ja’Sean Lindsey in Division VI.
As the teams prepare for next season, the All-Ohio selections, made by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association, highlight the exceptional talent present in local high school football. The ceremony not only recognizes the athletes’ hard work but also sets the stage for future competitions where these young stars will continue to shine on the football field.
