University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey freshman forward Max Plante has been added to the preliminary roster of the 2025 U.S. National Junior Team by USA Hockey. Plante, along with current Bulldog defenseman Adam Kleber, will attend a training camp in December to audition for a spot on the final 25-player roster for the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship in Ottawa. Plante, who missed 10 games due to injury, has made an impact since his return with four points in four games. He was also invited to the 2024 USA Hockey World Junior Summer Showcase before joining UMD. This opportunity highlights Plante’s skill and potential on the ice at a national level.
