The U.S. Women’s Futsal National Team head coach, Diego Burato, has called up 18 players for an upcoming training camp in Costa Rica where they will play their first-ever international matches against Costa Rica. The matches will serve as a key evaluation for the team before the 2025 Concacaf Women’s Futsal Championship in Guatemala. The top two finishers in the championship will qualify for the FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup in the Philippines. The team has been drawn into Group B with Costa Rica, Honduras/Nicaragua, and Canada for the qualifying tournament. Following the upcoming camp, the team will gather once more in early April before the final roster is named for the championship.
