Police in Richmond Heights, Ohio, responded to several incidents recently, including suspicion of a vehicle parked on a lawn, theft of a pistol slide, property damage to a mailbox, disturbance at a gas station, suspicion of a vehicle stuck on a lawn with an intoxicated driver, burglary misunderstanding, vehicle theft, identity theft, harassment, impaired driving, and domestic violence.

In one incident, a driver delivering for DoorDash got his vehicle stuck on a lawn between a home and a church after following GPS directions. Another resident reported a missing pistol slide after a woman spent the night at his home. A mailbox was found damaged and a disturbance occurred at a gas station when a young man was denied cigarette purchase. A man was arrested for OVI after crashing into a pole while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Additionally, a woman reported identity theft and a former friend harassing her through voicemails and text messages. A vehicle was stolen from an apartment complex but later recovered. In a misunderstanding, a woman mistaken as a burglar was actually looking for a ride.

In another incident, officers responded to a domestic violence disturbance at an apartment but did not make any arrests as the primary aggressor could not be identified.
